ADHD is a neurobiological condition that impacts on about 5-7% of all children. The condition leads to difficulties in attention, concentration, impulse control, hyperactivity and organisation skills. Children and adolescents with ADHD have problems in school, home and sometimes in the community. ADHD can be treated and managed effectively. Modifications in home and school are necessary.
